Ardmayle — Hand Carved on Irish Slate

This slate carving of Ardmayle Church has been completed by Richie from Irish Slate Art.

Clean, sharp line work is cut directly into natural slate, to bring out the distinctive silhouette of Ardmayle’s tower, roofline and tall narrow windows. The lettering itself is also carved, — the warm golden tones are created by hand painting the engraved channels to contrast beautifully against the natural dark slate.
